WARN General Meeting Minutes
April 11, 2011
General Meeting of the WARN called to order on April 11th, 2011, at the all-day educational conference at Lambeau Field Green Bay by President Joyce Ennis.
Treasurer report at time of the meeting: Checking - $12361.32, Savings - $3204.07, and CD of $12,000.00.
Judy Klaver gave an update on political issues of concern during her presentation.
Lisa Salamon encouraged members to please keep their profiles up to date on the ARN website as that is where WARN receives address information.
Lynn Morgenstern encourages members to consider becoming a board member with the next elections coming soon. Nominations forms and open positions are available on the website.
Lynn also announced the winners of the special awards Rising Star award went to Jill Esser employed at the U.W. Hospital Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility in Madison, WI. The Nurse Excellence Award winner was Jean Kowalski employed at Sacred Heart Rehab Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Click here to read more about the award winners.
The Community Service Award went to: Wheel Chair Recycling in Madison, WI.
The winner of the $500.00 to go to the 2012 ARN convention in Las Vegas was Judy Klaver.
Eileen Sherburne and Lori Waldo won free dues of $130.00 for ARN and WARN memberships for 1 year.
Save the date flyers announced the next 1/2 day conference for August 17th at Ministry Saint Joesph's Hospital at Marshfield.
