WARN General Meeting Minutes
January 25, 2011
The meeting was called to order by Joyce Ennis WARN President. Welcome to all, board members present were introduced.
Secretary’s report: posted on the WARN website warntoday.org
Treasurer’s report: $12, 361.32 in checking, $3254.07 in savings and $12,000.00 in a CD.
Current website/newletter information given by Lisa Salamon. New information to the website will be posted after Feb 1st.
Wisconsin Nursing Coalition report deferred.
Marty Castillo and Mary Victory announced upcoming program information. See the website for details.
Lynn Morgenstern announced that it is time to send in nominations for president elect, program co chair and nominations/membership chair. She also asked for nominations for excellence in rehab nursing, a rising star and community service.
A drawing was held for members and Linda Woida will attend the April 11, 2011 all day conference at no cost.
The program followed. Topics were spinal cord injury, the nurse as therapist and how to use your superpowers. Thank you to Aurora St. Luke’s for hosting the program.
